A Powerful Flash for Real Estate and Event Photographers
The Nissin MG10 is a powerful (GN 80, 165 w/s) multi-purpose flash designed for professional wedding and event photography.
The Nissin MG10 flash is also extremely useful for real estate photography because it can dramatically reduce time on location and editing time. The MG10's unique wireless remote shutter release, reliable TTL performance, portability, and high power output allows photographers to quickly light interior spaces with a single hand-held flash. Say goodbye to hauling around a heavy trunk of flashes and light stands.

For real estate photography, the Nissin MG10 incorporates a remote shutter release trigger into the flash grip, allowing remote wireless camera triggering. The remote shutter trigger allows the user to move freely around a space with the flash while capturing multiple flash exposures without having to setup and reposition additional flashes and light stands.
Watch the quick demo video above to see how you can save valuable time shooting using the Nissin MG10's remote shutter trigger to quickly light adjacent spaces using a single flash, and no light stands. To see more of Chris Miller's videos check out his YouTube Channel.
The versatile MG10 can also be quickly attached to a light stand using its built-in 1/4-20 thread, or mounted to a camera using the included quick release ‘L’ bracket when on-camera flash is required. The lightweight magnesium alloy ‘L’ bracket enables height adjustment and mounting to camera left or right.
Nissin MG10 Superior Heat Resistant Design and Materials
The Nissin MG10 delivers more power than standard sized speedlights (GN 80 meters, 165 w/s) and uncompromising rapid-fire performance. Its design incorporates venting for rapid heat dissipation, heat resistant components, and dual quartz flash tubes to support continuous high power flashes.
Ultra Fast Recycle Time with Li-on Batteries or an External Battery Pack
Connect the Nissin MG10 to an external battery pack (not included) when ultra fast 1.5 second recycle times are required for high volume wedding and event photography. The MG10 uses power from an attached external battery to exclusively deliver power for the flash's light output. When using an external battery pack the MG10 also requires internal batteries (26650 or AA) to power the flash's user interface and wireless communication functions. The MG10 power socket requires a Sony style cable to connect with an external battery pack.
High capacity 26650 lithium-ion batteries (not included) can also be used to power the Nissin MG10. These high capacity lithium-ion batteries deliver fast 2.8 second recycle times without the inconvenience of carrying the additional weight of an external battery pack. For optimal performance select 26650 li-ion batteries that deliver 10A max discharge.
Nissin's patented variable battery system also accommodates standard AA batteries (not included) when high performance flash recycle times are not needed. Use of AA batteries to power the MG10 delivers 3.5 second recycle times for full-power shots.
High-Speed Sync (HSS) to 1/8000
The Nissin MG10 is high-speed sync (HSS) capable to 1/8000 second when shooting in TTL or Manual mode. Due to the high power consumption required for HSS flash exposures, when using HSS in Manual Mode the MG10 is limited to 1/1 to 1/32 power.
HSS gives you the freedom to shoot with larger apertures when a shallow depth of field is desired, even when shooting in bright sunlight, i.e. f/2.8 up to 1/8000 second.
Wireless Radio Transmitter / Receiver
The Nissin MG10 features an 8 channel 2.4 Ghz wireless radio receiver that supports a range up to 300’ when paired with the wireless radio Nissin Air 10s Commander or Nissin MG80 Pro (set to Commander Mode). When paired with the Nissin Air 1 Commander the MG10 supports a range up to 100’.
Premium Professional Build Quality
The Nissin MG10 was designed to be a multi-purpose on or off-camera workhorse flash for high volume real estate, wedding and event photographers. Its heat resistant design, heavy duty shell, and dual quartz flash tubes mean that the MG10 will keep firing long after other flashes fail.
LED Modeling Light
The Nissin MG10 incorporates an 8 watt LED modeling light built into the flash head. When the MG10 is used off-camera, the modeling light can be controlled from the Nissin Air 10s Commander, or MG80 Pro (set to Commander Mode).
Accessories Included with the Nissin MG10
Included with every Nissin MG10 is a quick-release camera mount bracket, lithium-ion battery magazine, AA battery magazine, professional ball head, and wide angle diffuser.
Using the MG10 L Bracket with Arca Swiss Mounting Brackets
The included magnesium alloy L bracket attaches to your camera's bottom 1/4-20 mount. The L bracket is not compatible with Arca Swiss mounting plates without modification.
If you wish to modify your L bracket to use with your Arca Swiss mount then please visit Nissin Japan for detailed instructions.
