Maximize the Performance of Your Flash with Ultra Fast Recycle Times
The Nissin PS 8 is a high power external battery pack designed to maximize the performance of your accessory flashes and speedlights with ultra fast flash recycle times of 0.5 to 0.7 seconds. With two power output sockets the high voltage PS8 can power 1 or 2 flashes simultaneously, providing up to 550 full power flashes (GN36) on a single charge.
High Volume Event Photography
Clip the PS8 to your belt, sling it over your shoulder, or hang it from a light stand; with the included belt clip and shoulder strap the PS8 is easily portable. The battery cartridge can be quickly changed on the fly when shooting high volume, all day events.
The PS8 battery charge indicator LED changes from green to red when the charge drops below 30%, and it blinks red when the charge drops below 10%. The battery recharges in 4 hours and is rated for 500 charge cycles (approx).
Flash Compatibility
The Nissin PS8 can be used with Nissin flash models MG10, i60A, Di700A, MF18. The Nissin PS8 is also compatible with/fits Canon, Nikon, and Sony brand flashes equipped with an external power socket.
The PS8 connects to the flash using the included NPC 300 power cord (1 of Canon, Nikon, or Sony version cord). Nissin's Fuji and Olympus / Panasonic model flashes use the Sony compatible PS8 power cord (NPC 300S).
